RENAISSANCE: A Virtual Concert Event

Join us for an evening of Renaissance choral music. This concert features nine all-new performances recorded and sung LIVE by four small ensembles from the Oregon Repertory Singers. After one year of singing apart, we are ready to join our voices together in song for you.

Featuring composers of differing cultures and genders, we are pleased to present masterworks by Maddalena Casulana, Barbara Strozzi, Caterina Assandra, Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla, José Maurício Nunes Garcia, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, and Thomas Weelkes.

Two Opportunities to Watch!

Wednesday, May 19 @ 7 pm PDT

Sunday, May 23 @ 4 pm PDT  (Encore Performance)

RENAISSANCE means rebirth and renewal, which pairs perfectly with the arrival of springtime and our collective hope for a revitalization of performing arts in our community. We hope you will join us on May 19th for our virtual spring concert, RENAISSANCE.

Our season is coming to a close on June 30. Please support the conclusion of our season by making a gift that bids adieu to the past for the lessons learned in patience, resilience, and creativity and helps us look to the future with fresh goals and visions, hope and gratitude, and most importantly new inspiring musical performances. Thank you for joining us on this journey.

We are stronger. We have grown. We feel renewed. We are prepared for a vibrant return. That’s the power of spring, our RENAISSANCE.
